Strongly agree. Central appetite is real but people overstate it.

comment on unpopular opinion: chromatogram is massively overrated in c/hplc · 36 points · 4 months ago

Yeah, the chromatogram profile matters more than the headline number.

comment on the Netherlands: purity, and what it actually costs here in c/hplc · 139 points · 6 months ago

This is the correct method framing. Column and gradient are load-bearing fields.

the evidence standards are rules

Disagree on that part. 97.4% and 97.4% on the same vial is normal.

comment on appetite: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1 in c/glp1science · 96 points · 1 year ago

Yeah, the incretin mechanism is doing the work here.

comment on [Discussion] chromatogram is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/hplc · 589 points · 1 year ago

Small correction: the trial was 6 weeks, not 9. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

permalink

comment on switched from 1.7mg to 1.0mg and the reflux got better, not worse in c/hplc · 1 points · 1 year ago

Slight fix: the number was 99.1, not 96.8. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.
