[Question] how do you actually verify pentadecapeptide

Question

Been lurking in c/glp1eu for about 24 months and finally have something worth posting.

Short version: week 17, 10mg, and rodent data is the bit I still cannot get a straight answer on. I have read the wiki, I have read the last 39 threads, and the answers split roughly down the middle.

What I actually want to know is whether the people saying it does not matter have measured it, or whether it is just repeated confidently. Happy to be told I am overthinking this — I probably am — but I would rather overthink it now than at week 11.

Crossposting this to c/meta because the people who need it are not reading this community.

Stalled for 22 weeks, changed nothing, and it started moving again on week 58.

the regulatory rodent evidence is solid, human evidence is not

This is correct. The naming is genuinely confusing.

Yeah, rodent data does not scale to humans.

BPC pentadecapeptide is a naming problem, three things are called this

tendon and rodent data literature in rodents is interesting

Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.

Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 7–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.

About c/bpc157

BPC-157 as it actually is: a pentadecapeptide with a genuinely interesting rodent tendon-and-gut literature, near-zero controlled human data, a naming and sequence mess in the supply chain, and a regulatory status that changed sharply in several countries.
