[Question] TGA — what am I missing here

Question Receipts ×2

Quick one. Canada here.

Australia works very differently where I live than in the threads that dominate the front page, and I keep seeing people confidently given advice that simply does not apply outside the US.

Specifics: the route I used took 20 weeks and cost roughly what I expected. The admin was worse than the cost. The thing that would have saved me the most time was knowing which document to ask for at the start.

Happy to answer questions from anyone in the same jurisdiction.

Tracking number removed. It identifies both ends of a shipment.

Adding to this: New Zealand is doing more work than the comment implies.

Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points. Different column, different gradient, different integration.

okay but what dose

u/fatima_yildizOP1 point·10 months ago

Maintenance for 2 months now. Weight moves within about 3kg and the dose is a quarter of what it peaked at.

The confident tone is doing a lot of work that the evidence is not.

AU or NZ?

This is correct. PBS listings matter.

the 2024 compounding rule change closed a major route overnight

Rodent data is rodent data. Dose scaling is not linear and the models tell you what to investigate, not what to expect.

the New Zealand versus New Zealand distinction is real

Titration speed is a side-effect dial far more than an efficacy dial.

That is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning.

Yeah, the 2024 rule change was sudden.

Australia and New Zealand: PBS listing status and what it does to out-of-pocket cost, TGA shortage notices, the 2024 compounding rule change that closed a major access route overnight, and NZ's unfunded-means-full-price reality.
