[Discussion] we are measuring private prescription at the wrong time and calling it noise

Discussion Cold Box ×8

Genuinely asking, not being difficult.

Everyone in c/dosinglogs repeats that pharmacy is important. I believe it, but I have never seen anyone show why, and when I search I get 11 threads of people agreeing with each other.

Is there a paper? Is there a measurement? Or is this one of those things that is true because it has been repeated since 2023?

I am not trying to be the "source?" guy. I would just like a source.

I love that this community will spend 40 comments on a detail. That pedantry is why the numbers here matter.

Yeah, the NHS waitlist is genuinely two years in most places.

Private pharmacy pricing in Canada: 1.7mg was private prescription this month, 11% up from last month.

c/glp1uk rules
  1. No naming online pharmacies that prescribe without a consultation.
  2. Price posts need the date — UK private pricing moves monthly.
  3. NHS pathway questions: say which nation. England, Scotland, Wales and NI differ.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
  8. No contact handles, wallet addresses or tracking numbers — they identify people.
  9. Be recognisably decent. Disagree hard, insult nobody.

Several compounds discussed on GLP Research Hub are sold for research use only and are not approved for human use anywhere. Nothing here is medical advice and none of it is written by your clinician. If a post reads like an instruction, treat it as a description of what one stranger did.
