[Discussion] the UK conversation is completely different to the US one and we keep mixing them
Trying to settle this properly because the thread from last year went in circles.
The claim: pricing matters. The counter-claim: it is measurement error. Both sides have been asserting it confidently for about 23 months without either producing anything.
What would actually settle it is 13 people measuring the same thing the same way. I have started; my numbers are below. They lean one way but not strongly enough for me to declare victory.
If you have data, post the data. If you have an opinion, flair it as an opinion.

The evidence standard in c/vendorvetting gets called too strict about once a month, and every time, the thread ends with the complainant agreeing.

the Scottish pathway is different from the English one
Private pharmacy pricing in Canada: 2.5mg was private prescription this month, 13% up from last month.

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

Disagree. What you are describing is consistent with private prescription, not with what you concluded.
England or Scotland? Different pathways.
Strongly agree. private prescription is region-specific.
the tier 3 pathway is the only free route, it is slow
The tier 3 pathway in my area: 10 month wait, then 30 months for review, then approved. Total NHS.
