Small correction: the trial was 16 weeks, not 30. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

eGFR noise during rapid loss is expected

Disagree on that part. 98.7% and 96.2% on the same vial is normal.

ALT is where the fatty-liver story shows up first

Disagree on that part. 98.4% and 98.3% on the same vial is normal.

Mechanistically the bit that matters is ALT. It explains most of the early profile and a decent chunk of the outcome.

reship and retest is the honest way to handle a low result

Water content matters more than people think. If a vial is carrying residual moisture, your "10mg" is not 10mg of peptide.

Phase 2 or phase 3?

comment on satiety — 14 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/cagrilintide · 1 points · 1 year ago

The satiety on amylin analogs is described as physically different. GLP-1 reduces appetite noise, amylin does amylin.

Not to be pedantic but cagrilintide and amylin are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.

amylin is not a GLP-1, posts conflating them get corrected
