stalled for 7 weeks at 2.5mg and I refuse to panic this time
Been lurking in c/maintenancephase for about 2 months and finally have something worth posting.
Short version: week 6, 0.5mg, and compounding is the bit I still cannot get a straight answer on. I have read the wiki, I have read the last 21 threads, and the answers split roughly down the middle.
What I actually want to know is whether the people saying it does not matter have measured it, or whether it is just repeated confidently. Happy to be told I am overthinking this — I probably am — but I would rather overthink it now than at week 12.
best — the order this archive was captured in
This is correct. The shortage list does expire and the rules change.
The 503A pharmacy I used lost their shortage list eligibility. Same day, compounding became illegal. Rules are real.
Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 20–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.
no pharmacy referral codes, naming is fine, recruiting is not
Moved states and the compounding landscape changed completely. Different rules, different pharmacies, different costs.
Titration speed is a side-effect dial far more than an efficacy dial.
This is the "correlation is mechanism" thing again. You changed three variables at once.
