scale hasn’t moved in nine days, week 4, am I stalling already

Question

Started strong for the first three weeks, decent steady drops. Then nothing. Nine days, same number give or take 0.3kg either direction. Is this the "week four wall" everyone talks about or is something actually wrong.

textbook week four wall. nine days is nothing, it's noise sitting on top of noise. give it another two weeks before you even entertain the word "stall".

ok, the name of your account is doing a lot of reassuring work here ngl

the handle is basically a public service announcement at this point

daily weight is dominated by water, sodium, hormones, bowel contents, and approximately none of that is fat loss signal. plot a 7-day rolling average instead of raw numbers and this "stall" mostly disappears visually.

seconding hard. raw daily weight for most people has a 1-1.5kg noise band. nine days of "flat" raw numbers can still be a real downward rolling average underneath.

just averaged mine out and yeah, there's still a small downward line, I was staring at the wrong number

this is like 80% of "why did I stall" threads honestly, wrong number, not wrong body

should be a stickied graphic at this point

Nothing here needs a dose change or a mod action, just time. Leaving up as a good reference thread for the next person who asks this exact question this week — and there will be one.

whatever got removed, please don't take dosing suggestions from a comment thread either way, that's between you and your prescriber

bookmarking this because I can already feel myself getting anxious at day 9 and I'm only at day 4

counterpoint, some stalls at week 4 are real and dose-related, not everyone's is noise, telling everyone it's always noise is its own kind of wrong

nobody said always, we said nine days is too short a window to tell the difference, which it objectively is

fwiw my week 4 wall lasted exactly until day 17 and then dropped 1.4kg in three days. bodies are weird and lumpy about this.
