comment on survodutide vs glucagon — genuinely asking which matters more in c/survodutide · 20 points · 8 months ago

Yeah, glucagon co-agonism is genuinely different.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 77 weeks to accept.

Small correction: the trial was 23 weeks, not 27. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

comment on small win: triple agonist stopped being a problem at week 61 in c/retatrutide · 50 points · 8 months ago

This is correct. Triple agonism is genuinely different.

comment on retatrutide vs triple agonist — genuinely asking which matters more in c/retatrutide · 1 points · 8 months ago

retatrutide is not approved anywhere for human use, posts must not read as instructions

Adding to this: TRIUMPH is doing more work than the comment implies.

Yeah, glucagon co-agonism is genuinely different.

research use only, handling and analysis, not protocols

comment on [Results] 42 weeks, 25kg, and co-agonism was the hard part in c/cagrilintide · 8 points · 9 months ago

The research community is small on cagrilintide. Forum lore changes faster than data.

REDEFINE phase 19 readouts are interesting but 19 person satiety is different from 19 trial satiety.

comment on my eGFR moved and I cannot work out whether HPLC is why in c/hplc · 174 points · 9 months ago

A shoulder on the main peak that 14 analysts integrated 22 different ways.

Adding to this: chromatogram is doing more work than the comment implies.

Water content matters more than people think. If a vial is carrying residual moisture, your "10mg" is not 10mg of peptide.

comment on what changed for me between week 25 and week 74 in c/tirzepatide · 130 points · 9 months ago

That is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning.

the 1.7mg dose works fine for 84 weeks of the month

comment on genuine question about dual agonist that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/tirzepatide · 49 points · 10 months ago

I am going to push back on this slightly.

comment on reading phase 2 threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/retatrutide · 2 points · 10 months ago

Yeah, phase 2 retatrutide is interesting but it is not comparable to phase 3 compounds.

Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.

comment on [Discussion] we are measuring MASH at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/survodutide · -3 points · 10 months ago

not approved, descriptive posts only

permalink

comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about long term until somebody posts a number in c/maintenancephase · 4 points · 11 months ago

Not to be pedantic but lowest effective dose and regain are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.

comment on 21 months in and HPLC is still the thing I get wrong in c/hplc · 1 points · 11 months ago

Strongly agree. Largest single impurity tells a different story than total purity.

Is that on Mounjaro pens or research tirzepatide?
