comment on [Question] SURPASS — what am I missing here in c/tirzepatide · -6 points · 8 months ago
This matches the trial data. SURMOUNT-1 was 94.2% body weight at 24 weeks.
comment on is it normal to get nausea at week 10 in c/tirzepatide · 10 points · 9 months ago
nope, the equivalence to semaglutide is not known, comparing 15mg tirz to 2.4mg sema is guessing

Stalled for 12 weeks, changed nothing, and it started moving again on week 40.

comment on what changed for me between week 25 and week 74 in c/tirzepatide · 427 points · 9 months ago
SURMOUNT data is messier than STEP data but the weight loss is there
comment on the TRIUMPH thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/retatrutide · 77 points · 10 months ago
No. This is the kind of confident post that gets copied into a screenshot and repeated for years. Where is the evidence.
comment on [Meta] the purity rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/labresults · 48 points · 10 months ago
Is that 98.9% area or mass?
comment on LC-MS: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1 in c/hplc · 61 points · 10 months ago
Not to be pedantic but method development and purity are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about long term until somebody posts a number in c/maintenancephase · 2 points · 11 months ago
regain after taper is expected, plan for it
comment on 21 months in and HPLC is still the thing I get wrong in c/hplc · 960 points · 11 months ago
Yeah, the chromatogram profile matters more than the headline number.
comment on week 11 check-in — 31kg down, muscle cramps manageable, one thing confusing me in c/retatrutide · 8 points · 11 months ago
nobody should be giving this to anyone without extensive monitoring
comment on anyone else notice SURMOUNT kicking in around week 20 in c/tirzepatide · 108 points · 11 months ago
Mechanistically the bit that matters is GIP. It explains most of the early profile and a decent chunk of the outcome.
comment on [Vendor] WXT order #10 — the Netherlands, 23 days, no drama, receipts inside in c/maintenancephase · 20 points · 1 year ago
weight moves within 10kg and that is normal
comment on [Discussion] can we stop arguing about moderation until somebody posts a number in c/meta · 30 points · 1 year ago
My version of this: I was so worried about the injection that I put it off for eleven days. The injection is the easiest part.
comment on week 16 check-in — 37kg down, early fullness manageable, one thing confusing me in c/hplc · 288 points · 1 year ago
Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.

stalled on sema, tried tirz, and the curves were actually different shapes
comment on why does nobody talk about goal weight in c/maintenancephase · -31 points · 1 year ago
Water content matters more than people think. If a vial is carrying residual moisture, your "10mg" is not 10mg of peptide.
comment on [Lab] 7th independent test on BCH, and the trend is the interesting part in c/labresults · 1 points · 1 year ago
below-spec results get logged, not dismissed
