comment on [Sceptic] every new three-letter analog needs a data table before a hype thread in c/researchpeptides · 43 points · 2 days ago

Maintenance for 18 months now. Weight moves within about 3kg and the dose is a quarter of what it peaked at.

comment on [Explainer] why 1mL syringes cause overdoses and 0.3mL ones do not in c/reconstitution · 32 points · 3 days ago

Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points. Different column, different gradient, different integration.

This is correct. 1mL versus 11mL is the common mistake.

Yeah, showing the arithmetic is the fastest way for someone to spot the error.

You have restated the marketing copy. What is the actual substance here.

comment on two labs, same vial, 98.1 and 96.4. both right? in c/hplc · 19 points · 7 days ago

Ran the same vial on two columns, different purity, both right, different separation. Method matters more than equipment.

no piling on, mistake posts are favours to the community

Adding to this: below spec is doing more work than the comment implies.

food noise returns but not always immediately

Disagree on that part. 97.4% and 98.3% on the same vial is normal.

Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.

EMA and national agency claims need citation

Adding to this: reimbursement is doing more work than the comment implies.

I am going to push back on this slightly.

comment on [Announcement] sponsor disclosure, in full, again, because someone asked in c/meta · 6 points · 12 days ago

The evidence standard in c/vendorvetting gets called too strict about once a month, and every time, the thread ends with the complainant agreeing.

The the food-noise thing was genuinely awful for three weeks and then simply stopped. I know that is not useful information, but it is what happened.

Did you stretch the dose interval?

comment on reconstituted at 1mL instead of 2mL and caught it before injecting. lucky. in c/reconstitution · 31 points · 17 days ago

Dead space ate 3 units on a low-volume draw. Tiny impact at 1.0mg, massive impact at 0.5mg.

comment on [Question] what is a reasonable system suitability RSD for this work in c/hplc · 73 points · 17 days ago

Yeah, the chromatogram profile matters more than the headline number.
