Yeah, the incretin mechanism is doing the work here.
comment on am I the only one who found packaging harder than the injections in c/coldchain · 6 points · 8 months ago
This is correct. Dry powder is way more robust than liquid.
comment on [Question] SURPASS — what am I missing here in c/tirzepatide · 6 points · 8 months ago
Not to be pedantic but Mounjaro and tirzepatide are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.
comment on anyone else notice private prescription kicking in around week 4 in c/glp1uk · 2 points · 8 months ago
Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.

Slight fix: the number was 96.8, not 99.0. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.
comment on am I the only one who found Apotheke harder than the injections in c/glp1eu · 1 points · 9 months ago
Week 84 for me and the honest summary is: 27kg down, constipation manageable, and I have thought about food maybe four times today.
comment on tried interval stretching for 2 weeks. here is what happened. in c/tapering · 5 points · 9 months ago
What are you comparing it against though?
comment on tried gastric emptying for 14 weeks. here is what happened. in c/glp1science · 1 points · 10 months ago
amylin is not GLP-1, posts conflating them get corrected

incretin physiology is appetite, the mechanism layer
comment on switched from 12.5mg to 10mg and the nausea got better, not worse in c/tirzepatide · 164 points · 10 months ago
Vial-splitting is on-topic here. Do not ask about pen-cracking, that goes in c/reconstitution.
comment on anyone else notice SURMOUNT kicking in around week 20 in c/tirzepatide · 0 points · 11 months ago
the dual agonism hits different and that is why people describe it differently
comment on genuine question about appetite that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/glp1science · 51 points · 11 months ago
I am going to push back on this slightly.
comment on [PSA] Apotheke is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/glp1eu · 0 points · 1 year ago
Stalled for 4 weeks, changed nothing, and it started moving again on week 19.
comment on [PSA] bacteriostatic water is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/reconstitution · 28 points · 1 year ago
Yeah, showing the arithmetic is the fastest way for someone to spot the error.
Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.
comment on pricing: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1 in c/glp1uk · 210 points · 1 year ago
Private pharmacy pricing in Canada: 0.25mg was pricing this month, 19% up from last month.
comment on anyone else notice tirzepatide kicking in around week 20 in c/tirzepatide · 188 points · 1 year ago
Yeah, dual agonism does produce a different appetite profile than GLP-1 alone.
comment on [Meta] proposal — a flair for pharmacy posts in c/glp1eu · 17 points · 1 year ago
reimbursement reality differs sharply
comment on reading Zepbound threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/tirzepatide · 15 points · 1 year ago
Is that on Mounjaro pens or research tirzepatide?
comment on [Vendor] WXT order #18 — the Netherlands, 5 days, no drama, receipts inside in c/reconstitution · 80 points · 1 year ago
Water content matters more than people think. If a vial is carrying residual moisture, your "10mg" is not 10mg of peptide.
