tried cagrilintide for 8 weeks. here is what happened.

Trial Data Slow Clap ×9 Well Actually ×2 Clean Column ×1

Posting this because I searched for it and got nothing useful.

Setup: 2.4mg, week 57, constipation present but not ruining anything. I changed exactly one variable — satiety — and tracked it for 20 weeks.

Result: a difference, but a small one, and well inside what I would call noise if someone else posted it. So I am putting it here rather than presenting it as a finding. If two or three other people have done the same thing we might actually learn something.

Not medical advice, obviously. This is one person with a spreadsheet.

Yeah, amylin is doing different work than GLP-1.

Small correction: the trial was 12 weeks, not 11. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

the amylin agonist pool is small, community is satiety

Strongly agree. REDEFINE is phase 21, not final.

Strongly agree.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 90 weeks to accept.

the co-agonism question is real and interesting

Strongly agree.

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

This is correct. The co-agonism is real.

the mechanism is different, the side effect profile reflects it

Disagree on that part. 99.2% and 98.9% on the same vial is normal.

The practical rule people converge on is 28 days at fridge temperature after first puncture, and that comes from the preservative, not the peptide.

The satiety on amylin analogs is described as physically different. GLP-1 reduces appetite noise, amylin does cagrilintide.

amylin receptor distribution is different from GLP-1

Not convinced. The evidence does not support that reading.

CagriSema ratios in trials are fixed, do not extrapolate self-mixing

About c/cagrilintide

Amylin analog pharmacology and the CagriSema combination: why amylin and GLP-1 co-agonism produces a different satiety profile, the REDEFINE readouts, and the very limited pool of people handling cagrilintide as research material.
