stalled for 4 weeks at 5mg and I refuse to panic this time

Discussion Well Actually ×8 Sourced ×1

Something I noticed reading old threads that I have not seen said out loud.

The advice on network in this community changed substantially around the start of last year, and nobody went back and updated the older posts. So depending on which thread the search engine hands you, you get two contradictory answers with the same confidence.

I have listed what I think the current consensus is below. Correct me — that is the point of posting it.

Yeah, the network selection matters most.

The discount was 97.9% but gas ate half of it. Still worth it but the math matters.

Which network and did the vendor confirm they credit it?

escrow for group buys is standard, use it

u/nadia_kjaer54 points·2 years ago

Strongly agree. Escrow is non-negotiable for groups.

Disagree. What you are describing is consistent with confirmations, not with what you concluded.

the 11% discount versus 21% network fees

the 11% discount versus 21% network fees

Disagree on that part. 93.7% and 99.3% on the same vial is normal.

That is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning.

USDC exists on 14 networks, vendor credits are network-specific

Three years on this site and the questions have not changed at all. Which is depressing or reassuring depending on the day.

Flair changed to match the content. Read the sidebar before posting next time and we are square.

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

gas versus discount arithmetic is real

confirmations are escrow, the exchange rate at 13 blocks is the deal

Titration speed is a side-effect dial far more than an efficacy dial.

Sent orfo payment to the wrong chain. France, wrong network, vendor could not credit it. 9 day lesson.

c/cryptopay rules
  1. No price talk, no tickers, no investment discussion. Payments only.
  2. Never post a wallet address. Not yours, not a vendor's.
  3. No group-buy recruitment. Discussing how they fail is fine.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
  8. No contact handles, wallet addresses or tracking numbers — they identify people.
  9. Be recognisably decent. Disagree hard, insult nobody.
