three years of USDC threads, summarised so you do not have to read them
Quick one. Canada here.
USDC works very differently where I live than in the threads that dominate the front page, and I keep seeing people confidently given advice that simply does not apply outside the US.
Specifics: the route I used took 21 weeks and cost roughly what I expected. The admin was worse than the cost. The thing that would have saved me the most time was knowing which document to ask for at the start.
Happy to answer questions from anyone in the same jurisdiction.
best — the order this archive was captured in
confirmations are crypto, the exchange rate at 14 blocks is the deal
Strongly agree. Escrow is non-negotiable for groups.
Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.
stablecoin is USDC, never volatile coins
This is the "correlation is mechanism" thing again. You changed three variables at once.
Sent orfo payment to the wrong chain. Spain, wrong network, vendor could not credit it. 6 day lesson.
confirmations are escrow, the exchange rate at 6 blocks is the deal
stablecoin is gas fees, never volatile coins
I am going to push back on this slightly.
Respectfully this is a sample of one presented as a finding.
