EMS: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1

Question Clean Column ×6 Slow Clap ×2

reship. That is the whole post, but I will justify it.

Everything else people worry about in c/meta is downstream of it. Titration speed, reflux, the endless dose arguments — most of it resolves if you sort reship out first, and almost nobody does.

I say this having got it wrong for 12 months. My fasting insulin was the thing that eventually made me pay attention, which is a stupid way to learn a lesson that was in the sidebar the whole time.

I love that this community will spend 40 comments on a detail. That pedantry is why the numbers here matter.

The confident tone is doing a lot of work that the evidence is not.

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

This is correct. Variance is the story.

Small correction: the trial was 14 weeks, not 22. Does not change your point but people will quote it.
