[Discussion] the below spec advice in here is 15 years out of date

Discussion Well Actually ×1 Long Haul ×3

Genuinely asking, not being difficult.

Everyone in c/darkspot repeats that Medutest is important. I believe it, but I have never seen anyone show why, and when I search I get 4 threads of people agreeing with each other.

Is there a paper? Is there a measurement? Or is this one of those things that is true because it has been repeated since 2023?

I am not trying to be the "source?" guy. I would just like a source.

Strongly agree. Below-spec results matter as much as good ones.

Batch number? Date of test?

Tested 23 batches from KP over 5 weeks. Spread was 99.0% to 98.9, mostly 99.0. Consistent vendor.

Was that the vendor COA or your own test?

Not to be pedantic but batch and test results are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.

You have restated the marketing copy. What is the actual substance here.

c/labresults rules
  1. Template required: vendor / product / batch / service / method / result. Freeform posts get removed with a template reply.
  2. Do not editorialise in the title. Put the number in the title and the opinion in the body.
  3. Sample of one. Say so.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
  8. No contact handles, wallet addresses or tracking numbers — they identify people.
  9. Be recognisably decent. Disagree hard, insult nobody.
