week 16 check-in — 17kg down, fatigue manageable, one thing confusing me
Been lurking in c/survodutide for about 12 months and finally have something worth posting.
Short version: week 62, 7.5mg, and food noise is the bit I still cannot get a straight answer on. I have read the wiki, I have read the last 39 threads, and the answers split roughly down the middle.
What I actually want to know is whether the people saying it does not matter have measured it, or whether it is just repeated confidently. Happy to be told I am overthinking this — I probably am — but I would rather overthink it now than at week 68.
best — the order this archive was captured in
Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 18–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.
week 28 on the pen, 24kg down, this is the answer

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 71 weeks to accept.
Right, and the corollary is that stopping escalation does not reset your tolerance, it just pauses the clock.
the 2.4mg dose is not the target, it is just what the pen goes up to
This matches my experience almost exactly on the Ozempic pens. The titration is the whole point.
the quiet is real. the food noise just stops.

Lost 13kg and gained a genuinely irritating amount of interest in analytical chemistry. This site did that to me.
my triglycerides moved before the scale did and i nearly missed it
You have restated the marketing copy. What is the actual substance here.
stalled at 5mg, went up, and regretted it, the stall would have broken anyway
Is that purity or net peptide content? They are not the same number.

Ozempic versus Wegovy versus research grade is the wrong argument, they are literally the same molecule
Stalled at 0.5mg, changed nothing, and it started moving again on week 45. Very nearly went up. Glad I did not.
my ferritin moved before the scale did and i nearly missed it

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

Did you time the injection consistently each week or was it more ad hoc?
Did anything else change in the same window? Sleep, protein, steps, anything?
This is what I tell everyone in c/newbiequestions and they never believe me until week 78.
Flair changed to match the content. Read the sidebar before posting next time and we are square.

pens are overpriced, research vials are research grade, same molecule different price
