unpopular opinion: semaglutide is massively overrated
Long-ish post, sorry. tl;dr at the bottom.
I have been tracking semaglutide against triglycerides for 27 weeks because I could not find anyone who had. The correlation is weaker than I expected, which is itself mildly interesting given how confidently people link the two in here.
Caveats up front: one person, one lab, one assay, no control, and I changed my training in the middle of it, which was stupid.
tl;dr: probably real, definitely smaller than the threads imply, and not worth reorganising your week around.
best — the order this archive was captured in
Water content matters more than people think. If a vial is carrying residual moisture, your "10mg" is not 10mg of peptide.
Hard agree. Week 30 me needed this. Week 76 me is nodding smugly.
Ozempic versus Wegovy versus research grade is the wrong argument, they are literally the same molecule
nope, 0.25 counts, it is just not the dose most people stay on
week 37 and i am still not at maintenance, do not rush the ladder

That is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning.
pens are overpriced, research vials are research grade, same molecule different price
Tracking number removed. It identifies both ends of a shipment.
Stalled at 1.0mg, changed nothing, and it started moving again on week 40. Very nearly went up. Glad I did not.
my eGFR moved before the scale did and i nearly missed it
I am going to push back on this slightly.
Cosigning. The slow route gets the outcome, the fast route gets you the side effects.
New Zealand here. Waited 8 months on an NHS list, gave up, went private, and the cost was half what I expected but the admin was worse.
I did the fast version. 10mg to 7.5mg in 6 weeks. Spent a weekend learning why the schedule exists.
