[Vendor] KP reship policy actually honoured — receipts inside
Package went missing between Zhuhai and here. Tracking died in a transit hub and stayed dead for eleven days.
Sent one email with a screenshot of the dead tracking page and the order number. Reply the next morning, replacement shipped four days later at their cost, arrived in nine days. No argument, no "prove it", no asking me to wait another month first.
Posting because reship policy is the single most underrated vendor differentiator in this whole directory and it almost never gets discussed, precisely because when it works there is no drama to write about.
Second confirmed reship for KP in the log now. Two is not a policy but it is more than an anecdote.
best — the order this archive was captured in
Logged and marked Resolved. This is the second corroborated reship for this vendor with receipts, which moves it from "claimed policy" to "observed behaviour" in the verification log.
Worth stating the standard out loud since it comes up: a vendor telling us they reship is a claim. Two members showing the reship happened is evidence. We log the second kind.
this goes straight into the ledger. running tally is now 34 reship/refund outcomes across 11 vendors, and the spread between the best and worst is much wider than the spread in purity.
can you post the tally? that seems like more useful decision data than the purity averages honestly.
working on it. the problem is that half the entries are unverifiable — somebody says they got a refund and there is nothing to check. i only want to publish the ones with receipts and that cuts it to about 20.
publish the 20 and say it is 20. a small honest table beats a big soft one.
after losing £340 to a group buy i now weight reship policy above price and roughly level with purity. it is the only thing that protects you from the failure mode that actually happens.
zhuhai to melbourne is nine days twice for me. fastest china-to-AU lane in my spreadsheet by two days.
the one gap with KP is water content missing from about a third of their COAs. they send it if you ask. edit: 8 of 11 in the audit, so a third is roughly right.
Removed a tracking number from a reply here. Not a warning — it just always comes out, because it identifies both ends of a shipment.
one reship is a coincidence and two is still a coincidence. this is the same reasoning error as the JEEP thread.
nobody claimed it was a policy. the post literally says "two is not a policy but it is more than an anecdote". you are arguing with a sentence that is not there.
