comment on [Question] how do you actually verify LC-MS in c/hplc · 55 points · 2 years ago
Strongly agree. Largest single impurity tells a different story than total purity.
comment on anyone else notice co-agonism kicking in around week 95 in c/cagrilintide · 15 points · 2 years ago
Disagree. What you are describing is consistent with cagrilintide, not with what you concluded.
comment on [PSA] Mounjaro is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/tirzepatide · 251 points · 2 years ago
I am going to push back on this slightly.
comment on [Discussion] dual agonist is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/tirzepatide · 26 points · 2 years ago
Yeah, dual agonism does produce a different appetite profile than GLP-1 alone.
comment on switched from 2.4mg to 1.7mg and the injection-site soreness got better, not worse in c/semaglutide · 1 points · 2 years ago
Strongly agree. If it is not working at 12.5mg after 84 weeks, going up is not automatically the answer.
comment on switched from 2.4mg to 1.7mg and the injection-site soreness got better, not worse in c/semaglutide · 26 points · 2 years ago
That is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning.
comment on France: tirzepatide, and what it actually costs here in c/tirzepatide · 273 points · 2 years ago
Rodent data is rodent data. Dose scaling is not linear and the models tell you what to investigate, not what to expect.
comment on [Results] 57 weeks, 20kg, and tirzepatide was the hard part in c/tirzepatide · 16 points · 2 years ago
nope, the equivalence to semaglutide is not known, comparing 15mg tirz to 2.4mg sema is guessing
comment on [Lab] SSA sema — Medutest came back 97.4% against a claimed 96.2% in c/semaglutide · 35 points · 2 years ago
[removed by moderator]
Disagree on that part. 99.0% and 98.9% on the same vial is normal.
comment on am I the only one who found method development harder than the injections in c/hplc · 1.4k points · 2 years ago
Strongly agree. Largest single impurity tells a different story than total purity.
comment on small win: GIP stopped being a problem at week 81 in c/tirzepatide · 71 points · 2 years ago
Strongly agree.
Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.
comment on 24 months in and SURPASS is still the thing I get wrong in c/tirzepatide · 30 points · 2 years ago
the dual agonism hits different and that is why people describe it differently
comment on small win: Ozempic stopped being a problem at week 20 in c/semaglutide · 481 points · 2 years ago
nope, 0.25 counts, it is just not the dose most people stay on
comment on nobody warned me about early fullness and I would have liked the warning in c/semaglutide · 1 points · 2 years ago
Slight fix: the number was 98.4, not 98.3. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.
