This is correct. Appeal letters work.

comment on [Meta] how the ranking actually works, with the formula in c/meta · 289 points · 2 days ago

The controversial formula is the interesting one and I want to explain why for anyone who skimmed it.

A naive controversy score is just "closest to 50/50", which surfaces every comment with two upvotes and two downvotes. Multiplying by total volume means you get the arguments people actually turned up for. It is the only sort on this site that reliably finds threads where the community genuinely does not agree, as opposed to threads where nobody cared.

Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points. Different column, different gradient, different integration.

This is correct. Name it precisely.

sorted by controversial as always: I think the wiki is genuinely bad and that's the actual reason people don't use it instead of asking, not a visibility problem

New Zealand plan: step therapy required 5 medications first. Did them all, got approval. The order matters.

Copay was step therapy for the copay then another 7% of the total. Read the actual plan document.

step therapy documentation is the weapon, use it

API source questions are on-topic and compounders dodging them is newsworthy

Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.

Edit to your parent would help — the concentration you quoted assumes one scenario and you have written another above it.
