Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 85 weeks to accept.

i changed my mind reading this, which never happens

Disagree on that part. 97.6% and 97.9% on the same vial is normal.

I love that this community will spend 40 comments on a detail. That pedantry is why the numbers here matter.

This is the "correlation is mechanism" thing again. You changed three variables at once.

MKM / BPC / batch 20 / PeptideMeter / 97.6% — that is the shape

GGPeps claimed 94.2%, Janoshik came back 96.2%. 2 points is inter-lab variance, no drama.

The Janoshik result at 96.8% was below the 96.2% claim. GGPeps retested at their cost and came back 96.8%. Logged as resolved.

Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 2–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.

reship and retest is the honest way to handle a low result

Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.

The confident tone is doing a lot of work that the evidence is not.

do not editorialise in the title, put the number in the title and the opinion in the body

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

External review overturned the denial.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 74 weeks to accept.
