comment on week 71 check-in — 17kg down, fatigue manageable, one thing confusing me in c/tirzepatide · 44 points · 1 year ago

Week 35 on Mounjaro and 11kg down. The appetite reduction feels different from sema in ways I do not have words for yet.

Switched from sema at 7.5mg to tirz at 15mg. Different drugs, cannot compare the doses directly.

Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.

That is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning.

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

inter-lab variance is real, 14 points is inside normal

Respectfully this is a sample of one presented as a finding.

Yeah, dual agonism does produce a different appetite profile than GLP-1 alone.

Cosigning. The GIP contribution is real and the side effects are not simply scaled versions.

multiple batches from SGN show a spread, that is the data

Zepbound and Mounjaro are literally the same drug, the name is the only difference
