comment on anyone else notice packaging kicking in around week 49 in c/coldchain · 213 points · 6 months ago

The confident tone is doing a lot of work that the evidence is not.

Stalled at 1.7mg, changed nothing, and it started moving again on week 96. Very nearly went up. Glad I did not.

nope, 0.25 counts, it is just not the dose most people stay on

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

comment on [Results] 41 weeks on 15mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/coldchain · 13 points · 10 months ago

Customs clearance took 3 days. Package sat unrefrigerated during that. Powder tested clean after, reconstituted solution probably would not have.

The gel pack lasted 10 hours in a courier van, then liquid. Powder itself fine, the cold chain mostly died in transit.

comment on help me understand plateau, I have read the wiki twice in c/semaglutide · 17 points · 1 year ago

Mechanistically the bit that matters is weekly dosing. It explains most of the early profile and a decent chunk of the outcome.

comment on why does nobody talk about ice pack in c/coldchain · 1 points · 1 year ago

Logger trace from my shipment: 11 hours at 31°C. Powder tested 98.6% against 99.1% claim. Tolerates more than the box implies.

This is the "correlation is mechanism" thing again. You changed three variables at once.

Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.

related substances are where the story lives, not the main peak

Yeah, data logger is the only acceptable proof.

permalink

comment on the stability question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/coldchain · 41 points · 1 year ago

Which carrier and route?

Adding to this: excursion is doing more work than the comment implies.
