comment on [PSA] write the concentration on the vial. that is the whole post. in c/semaglutide · 0 points · 8 months ago

the 2.4mg dose is not the target, it is just what the pen goes up to

Not to be pedantic but weekly dosing and semaglutide are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.

okay but what dose of sema are you on

comment on small win: titration stopped being a problem at week 41 in c/semaglutide · 29 points · 10 months ago

Right, and the corollary is that stopping escalation does not reset your tolerance, it just pauses the clock.

Is that purity or net peptide content? They are not the same number.

Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 23–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.

comment on genuine question about what went wrong that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/darkspot · 178 points · 1 year ago

Has anyone actually got this in writing, or is it forum lore at this point?

Adding to this: regret is doing more work than the comment implies.

Water content matters more than people think. If a vial is carrying residual moisture, your "10mg" is not 10mg of peptide.

Disagree. What you are describing is consistent with semaglutide, not with what you concluded.

The thing nobody prepared me for was that the appetite does not come back for a long time after you stop.

pens are overpriced, research vials are research grade, same molecule different price
