never post a calculation as advice without stating the concentration

Hard agree. Week 2 me needed this. Week 48 me is nodding smugly.

What was the vial size and how much bac water?

Respectfully this is a sample of one presented as a finding.

the 2.4mg dose is not the target, it is just what the pen goes up to

Disagree on that part. 97.4% and 96.8% on the same vial is normal.

I am going to push back on this slightly.

Removed a chain here. The rule is one line long and it is not negotiable.

Dead space ate 20 units on a low-volume draw. Tiny impact at 1.0mg, massive impact at 15mg.

Yeah, showing the arithmetic is the fastest way for someone to spot the error.

This is correct. 2mL versus 4mL is the common mistake.

comment on [Discussion] we are measuring UK at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/glp1uk · 56 points · 10 months ago

Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.

comment on stalled for 9 weeks at 5mg and I refuse to panic this time in c/semaglutide · -29 points · 11 months ago

Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.

Not to be pedantic but progress and struggle are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.
