comment on unpopular opinion: orforglipron is massively overrated in c/orforglipron · 37 points · 1 year ago
Strongly agree. The supply impact would be huge.
comment on SURMOUNT: what the trials say vs what this community says in c/trialwatch · 2 points · 1 year ago
You have restated the marketing copy. What is the actual substance here.
comment on my A1c moved and I cannot work out whether first time is why in c/newbiequestions · 7 points · 1 year ago
Yeah, that is totally normal for week 23.
comment on the CagriSema question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/cagrilintide · 0 points · 1 year ago
CagriSema ratios in trials are fixed, do not extrapolate self-mixing
comment on week 51 check-in — 46kg down, early fullness manageable, one thing confusing me in c/orforglipron · 250 points · 1 year ago
comment on [Lab] split one vial across Medutest and Janoshik — 96.2% and 99.2% in c/retatrutide · 27 points · 1 year ago
Respectfully this is a sample of one presented as a finding.
comment on [Lab] split one vial across Medutest and Janoshik — 96.2% and 99.2% in c/retatrutide · 135 points · 1 year ago
This is correct. Triple agonism is genuinely different.
comment on anyone else notice retatrutide kicking in around week 49 in c/retatrutide · 358 points · 1 year ago
comment on why does nobody talk about dose escalation in c/retatrutide · 59 points · 1 year ago
Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 18–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.
comment on CagriSema vs REDEFINE — genuinely asking which matters more in c/cagrilintide · 190 points · 1 year ago
Disagree. What you are describing is consistent with CagriSema, not with what you concluded.
comment on [Lab] 12th independent test on BCH, and the trend is the interesting part in c/newbiequestions · 76 points · 1 year ago
link the wiki instead of retyping, but politely
comment on the retatrutide question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/retatrutide · 0 points · 1 year ago
heart rate and dose escalation need actual measurements, not impressions
comment on [Lab] 4th independent test on BCH, and the trend is the interesting part in c/trialwatch · 14 points · 1 year ago
SELECT reported a SELECT hazard ratio but the absolute event rate is what changes clinical practice.
comment on switched from 1.7mg to 5mg and the muscle cramps got better, not worse in c/cagrilintide · 241 points · 1 year ago
REDEFINE readouts are phase 20 data
comment on [Results] 37 weeks, 16kg, and phase 2 was the hard part in c/retatrutide · 128 points · 1 year ago
Small correction: the trial was 18 weeks, not 26. Does not change your point but people will quote it.
comment on someone explain glucagon to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/retatrutide · 54 points · 1 year ago
The glucagon component does different things than dual agonism. The reflux are not just amplified versions.
comment on someone explain glucagon to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/retatrutide · 66 points · 1 year ago
Strongly agree. Heart rate escalation needs the actual data, not impressions.
comment on someone explain glucagon to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/retatrutide · 16 points · 1 year ago
Slight fix: the number was 99.1, not 99.0. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.
comment on the SELECT thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/trialwatch · 212 points · 1 year ago
SURMOUNT-4 discontinuation arm showed regain. That is the reality of a chronic disease treatment, not a failure.

Not to be pedantic but SURMOUNT and STEP are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.
