the Netherlands: area percent, and what it actually costs here

Suspicious Receipts ×3 Cold Box ×1

Confession thread, sort of.

I went from 5mg to 1.7mg much faster than I should have because the scale had stalled and I got impatient. The stall broke about 8 weeks later, at which point I had no way of knowing whether the dose increase did anything or whether it would have broken anyway.

So now I have injection-site soreness I did not need and a data point I cannot interpret. Two lessons in one.

Posting it in the hope that somebody at week 69 reads it before doing the same thing.

The chromatogram trace is where the real information lives. The summary number is just a headline.

This is the correct framing. The COA structure matters as much as the number.

the method line is doing real work, not just window dressing

I love that this community will spend 40 comments on a detail. That pedantry is why the numbers here matter.

Strongly agree. Mass% and area% are answering different questions on the same document.

Tested the GLB raw material and a reseller vial side-by-side. Same purity claim, different impurity profiles. Handling matters.

purity and net content are two different numbers, same vial

Are you looking at area% or net peptide content? Different numbers.

What were the related substances listed individually?

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 53 weeks to accept.

Cosigning. The batch number is load-bearing information.

Not to be pedantic but certificate of analysis and batch are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.

Removed a chain here. The rule is one line long and it is not negotiable.

About c/coa

How to read a certificate of analysis and what it does and does not tell you. Area% versus mass%, identity versus quantity, water content, related substances, acetate counterions, and the difference between a vendor-supplied COA and an independent test on the vial you actually received.

c/coa rules
  1. Post the full document. Cropped COAs that hide the batch number or date get removed.
  2. Redact your own name and order id, not the vendor's batch details.
  3. No "is this good?" without saying what the compound and claimed purity are.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
  8. No contact handles, wallet addresses or tracking numbers — they identify people.
  9. Be recognisably decent. Disagree hard, insult nobody.
