area percent — my 20-week log, condensed into one table

Posting this because I searched for it and got nothing useful.

Setup: 0.5mg, week 78, injection-site soreness present but not ruining anything. I changed exactly one variable — related substances — and tracked it for 4 weeks.

Result: a difference, but a small one, and well inside what I would call noise if someone else posted it. So I am putting it here rather than presenting it as a finding. If two or three other people have done the same thing we might actually learn something.

Not medical advice, obviously. This is one person with a spreadsheet.

Water content matters more than people think. If a vial is carrying residual moisture, your "10mg" is not 10mg of peptide.

Water content was 3.8%, acetate was 6.2%, purity was 99%, but net peptide was only 90% of the label weight. Perfectly honest, just chemistry.

Small correction: the trial was 10 weeks, not 29. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

Slight fix: the number was 98.7, not 98.9. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.

Yeah, 96.8% area is not the problem, the missing impurity breakdown is the problem.

  2. Redact your own name and order id, not the vendor's batch details.
  3. No "is this good?" without saying what the compound and claimed purity are.
