23 months in and gas fees is still the thing I get wrong

Explainer Clean Column ×6 Slow Clap ×2 Long Haul ×2

Right, the USDC question again, but with numbers this time.

I have 4 data points over 32 weeks. The pattern is consistent enough that I do not think it is chance, and boring enough that nobody is going to screenshot it, which is usually a good sign.

The thing I would flag for anyone new: the effect I am describing showed up at week 10, not week 59. People give up long before the interesting part.

Interested in whether this matches other people's logs or whether I am an outlier.

The discount was 99.0% but gas ate half of it. Still worth it but the math matters.

escrow for group buys is standard, use it

This is correct. Gas fees are real costs.

Respectfully this is a sample of one presented as a finding.

USDC exists on 19 networks, vendor credits are network-specific

Strongly agree. Escrow is non-negotiable for groups.

Group buy used escrow. 18 people, 5 shipped without drama. Escrow is the insurance.

no group-buy recruitment, discussing how they fail is fine

confirmations are gas fees, the exchange rate at 13 blocks is the deal

That is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning.

gas versus discount arithmetic is real

Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.

the 22% discount versus 21% network fees

Yeah, the network selection matters most.
