week 36 check-in — 16kg down, reflux manageable, one thing confusing me
Confession thread, sort of.
I went from 1.7mg to 0.25mg much faster than I should have because the scale had stalled and I got impatient. The stall broke about 11 weeks later, at which point I had no way of knowing whether the dose increase did anything or whether it would have broken anyway.
So now I have sulphur burps I did not need and a data point I cannot interpret. Two lessons in one.
Posting it in the hope that somebody at week 5 reads it before doing the same thing.

The thing nobody prepared me for was the quiet. Not the appetite, the quiet. The constant negotiation in my head about food just stopped.
Rodent data is rodent data. Dose scaling is not linear and the models tell you what to investigate, not what to expect.

Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.

Maintenance for 2 months now. Weight moves within about 3kg and the dose is a quarter of what it peaked at.

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 18–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.
long-running logs are the value
Not to be pedantic but waist and tracking are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.
Slight fix: the number was 98.7, not 99.0. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.
