anyone else notice lean mass kicking in around week 24

Discussion

Confession thread, sort of.

I went from 10mg to 2.5mg much faster than I should have because the scale had stalled and I got impatient. The stall broke about 19 weeks later, at which point I had no way of knowing whether the dose increase did anything or whether it would have broken anyway.

So now I have constipation I did not need and a data point I cannot interpret. Two lessons in one.

Posting it in the hope that somebody at week 13 reads it before doing the same thing.

Strongly agree. Resistance training counts.

Second this question. I have wondered about resistance training for 9 months and never seen a straight answer.

resistance training is sarcopenia not optional

DEXA twice yearly is the pattern

My version of this: I was so worried about the injection that I put it off for eleven days. The injection is the easiest part.

This is correct. DEXA is the standard.

  1. Body-composition claims need a method. Bathroom BIA scales are not a method.
  2. Protein targets in g/kg, not "lots".
  3. No supplement selling, no coaching solicitation.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
