[Question] incretin — what am I missing here

Question Well Actually ×6 The Quiet One ×2 Clean Column ×1

Right, the appetite question again, but with numbers this time.

I have 22 data points over 34 weeks. The pattern is consistent enough that I do not think it is chance, and boring enough that nobody is going to screenshot it, which is usually a good sign.

The thing I would flag for anyone new: the effect I am describing showed up at week 38, not week 87. People give up long before the interesting part.

Interested in whether this matches other people's logs or whether I am an outlier.

Removed a chain here. The rule is one line long and it is not negotiable.

rodent appetite tells you what to investigate, not what to expect in humans

Is that mechanism or speculation?

the half-life is incretin, affects steady state timing

incretin physiology is half-life, the mechanism layer

This is correct. Rodent data is investigational, not predictive.

Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.

Yeah, the incretin mechanism is doing the work here.

the 5-day half-life means week 5 is still ramp-up pharmacokinetically

do not extrapolate rodent data to human dosing without saying so

Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points. Different column, different gradient, different integration.

gastric emptying is real and explains most early nausea

The evidence standard in c/vendorvetting gets called too strict about once a month, and every time, the thread ends with the complainant agreeing.
