small win: transit time stopped being a problem at week 11

Lane Report Long Haul ×1 Slow Clap ×2

Been lurking in c/customs for about 10 months and finally have something worth posting.

Short version: week 28, 2.5mg, and transit time is the bit I still cannot get a straight answer on. I have read the wiki, I have read the last 31 threads, and the answers split roughly down the middle.

What I actually want to know is whether the people saying it does not matter have measured it, or whether it is just repeated confidently. Happy to be told I am overthinking this — I probably am — but I would rather overthink it now than at week 22.

Three years on this site and the questions have not changed at all. Which is depressing or reassuring depending on the day.

Every time this gets posted it hits the front page and every time someone has to re-explain it.

Strongly agree. Customs adds unpredictable delay.

TFC Sweden to Sweden: 23 days with TFC shipping, 16 days with customs. No drama.

DHL was 11 days door-to-door but reship. EMS took 38 days but cheaper and fine.

This is correct. Variance is the story.

Removed a chain here. The rule is one line long and it is not negotiable.

Adding to this: lane is doing more work than the comment implies.

Disagree. What you are describing is consistent with shipping, not with what you concluded.

customs clearance often adds 22 days, factor that in

Not convinced. The evidence does not support that reading.
