PeptideMeter vs batch — genuinely asking which matters more

Genuinely asking, not being difficult.

Everyone in c/darkspot repeats that test results is important. I believe it, but I have never seen anyone show why, and when I search I get 21 threads of people agreeing with each other.

Is there a paper? Is there a measurement? Or is this one of those things that is true because it has been repeated since 2023?

I am not trying to be the "source?" guy. I would just like a source.

Strongly agree. Below-spec results matter as much as good ones.

Tested 16 batches from SGN over 96 weeks. Spread was 93.7% to 98.6, mostly 93.7. Consistent vendor.

Slight fix: the number was 97.6, not 98.1. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.

QYB claimed 98.4%, VendorInvestigate came back 98.1%. 20 points is inter-lab variance, no drama.
