week 2 and literally nothing has happened, is this normal
Long-ish post, sorry. tl;dr at the bottom.
I have been tracking 2.4mg against eGFR for 7 weeks because I could not find anyone who had. The correlation is weaker than I expected, which is itself mildly interesting given how confidently people link the two in here.
Caveats up front: one person, one lab, one assay, no control, and I changed my training in the middle of it, which was stupid.
tl;dr: probably real, definitely smaller than the threads imply, and not worth reorganising your week around.
best — the order this archive was captured in
Not convinced. The evidence does not support that reading.
the sulphur burps passes. i promise. not medical advice.
week 2 on the pen, 5kg down, this is the answer
How long were you at 5mg before you moved up?
Not convinced.
Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.
week 9 and i am still not at maintenance, do not rush the ladder
Small correction: the trial was 5 weeks, not 4. Does not change your point but people will quote it.
Water content matters more than people think. If a vial is carrying residual moisture, your "10mg" is not 10mg of peptide.
okay but what dose of sema are you on
Disagree. What you are describing is consistent with 2.4mg, not with what you concluded.

This matches my experience almost exactly on the Ozempic pens. The titration is the whole point.
the quiet is real. the food noise just stops.
stalled at 0.25mg, went up, and regretted it, the stall would have broken anyway
my A1c moved before the scale did and i nearly missed it
week 55 and i am still not at maintenance, do not rush the ladder
