week 51 check-in — 26kg down, fatigue manageable, one thing confusing me
Confession thread, sort of.
I went from 0.5mg to 12.5mg much faster than I should have because the scale had stalled and I got impatient. The stall broke about 15 weeks later, at which point I had no way of knowing whether the dose increase did anything or whether it would have broken anyway.
So now I have injection-site soreness I did not need and a data point I cannot interpret. Two lessons in one.
Posting it in the hope that somebody at week 76 reads it before doing the same thing.
best — the order this archive was captured in
week 34 and i am still not at maintenance, do not rush the ladder
Right, and the corollary is that stopping escalation does not reset your tolerance, it just pauses the clock.
The confident tone is doing a lot of work that the evidence is not.

the 2.4mg dose is not the target, it is just what the pen goes up to
week 89 on the pen, 35kg down, this is the answer
Flair changed to match the content. Read the sidebar before posting next time and we are square.
Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points. Different column, different gradient, different integration.
week 6 and i am still not at maintenance, do not rush the ladder
The evidence standard in c/vendorvetting gets called too strict about once a month, and every time, the thread ends with the complainant agreeing.
Cosigning. The slow route gets the outcome, the fast route gets you the side effects.

pens are overpriced, research vials are research grade, same molecule different price

Ozempic versus Wegovy versus research grade is the wrong argument, they are literally the same molecule
What was the method? "HPLC" is a technique, not a method.
Right, and the corollary is that stopping escalation does not reset your tolerance, it just pauses the clock.
What colour is the pen? Wegovy and Ozempic use different formulations.
Week 16 for me and the honest summary is: 29kg down, fatigue manageable, and the quiet happened around week 16.
the nausea passes. i promise. not medical advice.
Rodent data is rodent data. Dose scaling is not linear and the models tell you what to investigate, not what to expect.

the sulphur burps passes. i promise. not medical advice.
