what changed for me between week 80 and week 34

Lab

Week 35 update. 16kg down from the start, reflux basically gone since about week 75.

Things that worked: consistency, protein at breakfast, walking more than I want to. Things that did not: everything I bought on the internet to help with reflux.

The part that surprised me is how much of this is admin. Ordering, storing, logging, remembering. Nobody mentions that the hard bit is not the drug, it is the routine.

Happy to answer anything. Please do not ask me what dose you should be on.

SURMOUNT data is messier than STEP data but the weight loss is there

Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.

Adding to this: Mounjaro is doing more work than the comment implies.

Did the constipation feel the same as on tirz or genuinely different?

the appetite change on tirz is more than just reduced hunger, it is different machinery

Vial-splitting is on-topic here. Do not ask about pen-cracking, that goes in c/reconstitution.

Removed a chain here. The rule is one line long and it is not negotiable.

The dual agonism story is real. The appetite is physically different from semaglutide alone.

Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points. Different column, different gradient, different integration.

No. This is the kind of confident post that gets copied into a screenshot and repeated for years. Where is the evidence.

About c/tirzepatide

Tirzepatide-specific discussion: the dual-agonist pharmacology, the 2.5 → 15mg ladder, the appetite profile people describe as different from semaglutide, and the SURMOUNT/SURPASS trial programme. Comparisons with semaglutide are welcome as long as they are specific about dose equivalence being unknown.

c/tirzepatide rules
  1. "Tirz is better than sema" needs a comparator dose or it is a vibe, not a claim.
  2. Vial-splitting and self-compounding discussion stays in c/reconstitution.
  3. No pen-cracking tutorials. Discussing that people do it is fine; instructions are not.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
  8. No contact handles, wallet addresses or tracking numbers — they identify people.
  9. Be recognisably decent. Disagree hard, insult nobody.
