Yeah, showing the arithmetic is the fastest way for someone to spot the error.

Every time this gets posted it hits the front page and every time someone has to re-explain it.
comment on anyone else notice lost money kicking in around week 95 in c/darkspot · 0 points · 1 year ago
Yeah, the lesson matters.
comment on [PSA] what went wrong is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/darkspot · 0 points · 1 year ago
decisions people would not make again
comment on [Results] 86 weeks on 5mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/reconstitution · 157 points · 1 year ago
The single most useful thing I did was write the concentration on the vial. Stopped all the confusion after that.
comment on lost money — my 15-week log, condensed into one table in c/darkspot · 67 points · 1 year ago
Came off after 77 weeks for financial reasons. Regained about a third over the following year. Back on now at a much lower dose.
comment on switched from 0.25mg to 15mg and the injection-site soreness got better, not worse in c/reconstitution · 60 points · 1 year ago
Spent 3 weeks confused about concentration math until someone showed me the table. 10mg, 1mL, concentration is 10/1.
comment on switched from 10mg to 7.5mg and the injection-site soreness got better, not worse in c/reconstitution · 628 points · 2 years ago
Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 17–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.
comment on [Meta] the units rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/reconstitution · 46 points · 2 years ago
the concentration on the vial in marker is the most important step
comment on reading mg/mL threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/reconstitution · 70 points · 2 years ago
5mg vial, 2mL water, concentration is 5/2 — write it on the vial afterwards
Disagree on that part. 99.0% and 98.9% on the same vial is normal.
comment on dead space — 12 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/reconstitution · 135 points · 2 years ago
I am going to push back on this slightly.
comment on the units question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/reconstitution · 1 points · 2 years ago
Cosigning. The concentration on the vial in marker is load-bearing.
comment on small win: units stopped being a problem at week 16 in c/reconstitution · 463 points · 2 years ago
Not convinced. The evidence does not support that reading.
comment on [Question] Sweden — has anyone got a straight answer on mg/mL in c/reconstitution · 36 points · 2 years ago
This is correct. 1mL versus 4mL is the common mistake.
comment on units is the most under-discussed thing in c/orforglipron in c/reconstitution · 0 points · 2 years ago
Show the arithmetic. Where did the units come from?
