Small correction: the trial was 20 weeks, not 22. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

comment on unpopular opinion: chromatogram is massively overrated in c/hplc · 13 points · 4 months ago

The evidence standard in c/vendorvetting gets called too strict about once a month, and every time, the thread ends with the complainant agreeing.

Disagree on that part. 93.7% and 99.3% on the same vial is normal.

comment on France: chromatogram, and what it actually costs here in c/hplc · 12 points · 4 months ago

This is the correct method framing. Column and gradient are load-bearing fields.

comment on what would you tell week-1 you about TRIUMPH in c/retatrutide · 8 points · 4 months ago

Mechanistically the bit that matters is dose escalation. It explains most of the early profile and a decent chunk of the outcome.

comment on why does nobody talk about triple agonist in c/retatrutide · -32 points · 5 months ago

the weight curves are unusually steep, which makes predicting individual response harder

phase 2 numbers are not maintenance numbers, cite the trial

Strongly agree. Largest single impurity tells a different story than total purity.

Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.

genuinely useful, thanks

comment on 22 months in and triple agonist is still the thing I get wrong in c/retatrutide · 20 points · 9 months ago

Strongly agree. Heart rate escalation needs the actual data, not impressions.

Adding to this: TRIUMPH is doing more work than the comment implies.

Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 21–5. Practical consequence: what you feel in week 1 is not what that dose does.

integration decision on a shoulder changes your number by half a point on its own
