comment on is it normal to get injection-site soreness at week 4 in c/sideeffects · 103 points · 6 months ago

Mechanistically the bit that matters is fatigue. It explains most of the early profile and a decent chunk of the outcome.

Respectfully this is a sample of one presented as a finding.

Went to A&E convinced it was pancreatitis. Lipase normal. It was gallstones. Get checked, do not post and wait.

The VendorInvestigate result being close to my own HPLC is the signal, not the absolute number. Both are right.

Strongly agree. Largest single impurity tells a different story than total purity.

The related substances profile is way more interesting than the main peak %. A 98% with 10 peaks is different from a 98% that is one 24% impurity.

Resting heart rate up 21 bpm from baseline, settled back down once I stopped escalating. Tracked daily so I am confident.

Strongly agree. Heart rate escalation needs the actual data, not impressions.

comment on [Discussion] private prescription is doing more work than we give it credit for in c/glp1uk · 42 points · 9 months ago

Half-life is about 168 hours, so steady state lands around week 24–5.

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

This is correct. State your country always.

comment on [Discussion] we are measuring UK at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/glp1uk · 80 points · 10 months ago

The evidence standard in c/vendorvetting gets called too strict about once a month, and every time, the thread ends with the complainant agreeing.

That is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning.
