comment on small win: food noise stopped being a problem at week 31 in c/semaglutide · 353 points · 1 year ago
Slight fix: the number was 99.1, not 98.9. Decimal point, but a fairly consequential one.

Cosigning the evidence standard. Receipts make the community.

comment on my eGFR moved and I cannot work out whether mechanism is why in c/glp1science · 40 points · 1 year ago
Small correction: the trial was 23 weeks, not 14. Does not change your point but people will quote it.
comment on my eGFR moved and I cannot work out whether mechanism is why in c/glp1science · 89 points · 1 year ago
Where does the appetite data actually come from?
comment on reading semaglutide threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/semaglutide · 41 points · 2 years ago
Slight fix: the number was 99.1, not 98.4.
Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.
comment on week 36 check-in — 27kg down, sulphur burps manageable, one thing confusing me in c/semaglutide · 335 points · 2 years ago
What was the method? "HPLC" is a technique, not a method.

Cosigning. The slow route gets the outcome, the fast route gets you the side effects.
comment on Denmark: Wegovy, and what it actually costs here in c/semaglutide · 91 points · 2 years ago
Lost 4kg and gained a genuinely irritating amount of interest in analytical chemistry. This site did that to me.

my ApoB moved before the scale did and i nearly missed it
comment on jurisdiction is the most under-discussed thing in c/researchpeptides in c/customs · 1 points · 2 years ago
genuine question, not being difficult: how do you know
Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.
comment on plateau vs titration — genuinely asking which matters more in c/semaglutide · 30 points · 2 years ago
The practical rule people converge on is 28 days at fridge temperature after first puncture, and that comes from the preservative, not the peptide.
Adding to this: semaglutide is doing more work than the comment implies.
comment on my ferritin moved and I cannot work out whether appetite is why in c/glp1science · 12 points · 2 years ago
glucagon-receptor contribution is gastric emptying for dual and triple agonism
comment on [Vendor] WXT order #5 — France, 27 days, no drama, receipts inside in c/glp1science · 11 points · 2 years ago
This is correct. Rodent data is investigational, not predictive.
