comment on glucagon co-agonism has its own safety story, stop generalising from tirz in c/survodutide · 2 points · 2 days ago
hepatic fat and MASH are the story
Adding to this: hepatic fat is doing more work than the comment implies.
comment on [Trial Data] ATTAIN-1 numbers, and why the % is not the headline in c/orforglipron · 15 points · 3 days ago
phase 12 data is interesting, phase 26 will tell the real story
comment on [Trial Data] what the STEP 4 and SURMOUNT-4 withdrawal arms actually showed in c/tapering · 14 points · 5 days ago
Week 91 for me and the honest summary is: 44kg down, reflux manageable, and I have thought about food maybe four times today.
comment on [Question] protein target in g/kg — of current weight or goal weight in c/glp1muscle · 1 points · 6 days ago
Yeah, protein matters on rapid loss.
comment on [Regain] appetite came back over five weeks, here is the timeline in c/tapering · 12 points · 12 days ago
the regain is treatment of chronic condition ending, not failure
comment on [Question] A1c 5.6 but CGM says otherwise. which do i believe. in c/t2dglp1 · 12 points · 14 days ago
The evidence standard in c/vendorvetting gets called too strict about once a month, and every time, the thread ends with the complainant agreeing.
comment on [Training] kept my deadlift, lost the belly, ate a lot of chicken in c/glp1muscle · 1 points · 15 days ago
Did anything else change in the same window?
comment on the appetite return question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/tapering · 4 points · 26 days ago

comment on [PSA] A1c is not what most of this community thinks it is in c/t2dglp1 · 0 points · 1 months ago
CGM traces tell a story, numbers alone do not
comment on small molecule vs ATTAIN — genuinely asking which matters more in c/orforglipron · 27 points · 1 months ago
no cold chain means ATTAIN, if approved
comment on my eGFR moved and I cannot work out whether LC-MS is why in c/hplc · 132 points · 1 months ago
Strongly agree. Largest single impurity tells a different story than total purity.
comment on someone explain LC-MS to me like I have not read a paper in years in c/hplc · 4 points · 1 months ago
Yeah, the chromatogram profile matters more than the headline number.
comment on [Meta] the small molecule rule is doing its job and people should stop complaining in c/orforglipron · 82 points · 2 months ago
Maintenance for 11 months now. Weight moves within about 3kg and the dose is a quarter of what it peaked at.
comment on glucagon — 17 things I got wrong before I got it right in c/survodutide · 205 points · 2 months ago
the safety profile is not just tirzepatide amplified
comment on why does nobody talk about chromatogram in c/hplc · 86 points · 2 months ago
comment on tried MASH for 15 weeks. here is what happened. in c/survodutide · 1 points · 3 months ago
Phase 15 or 16?
comment on three years of regain threads, summarised so you do not have to read them in c/tapering · 1 points · 3 months ago
I am going to push back on this slightly.
comment on integration vs purity — genuinely asking which matters more in c/hplc · 14 points · 3 months ago
The related substances profile is way more interesting than the main peak %. A 98% with 12 peaks is different from a 98% that is one 34% impurity.
comment on [Vendor] QST order #23 — Canada, 25 days, no drama, receipts inside in c/glp1muscle · 6 points · 4 months ago
The muscle cramps was genuinely awful for three weeks and then simply stopped. I know that is not useful information, but it is what happened.
comment on unpopular opinion: chromatogram is massively overrated in c/hplc · 20 points · 4 months ago
Yeah, the chromatogram profile matters more than the headline number.
