Sweden here. Waited 10 months on an NHS list, gave up, went private, and the cost was half what I expected but the admin was worse.

comment on [Question] triple agonist — what am I missing here in c/retatrutide · 45 points · 10 months ago

triple agonism is phase 2, do not generalise

permalink

comment on the 503A thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/compounding · 65 points · 11 months ago

Yeah, 503A and 503B are different regulatory animals.

my eGFR moved before the scale did and i nearly missed it

comment on [Results] 61 weeks on 1.7mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/compounding · 5 points · 11 months ago

This is the "correlation is mechanism" thing again. You changed three variables at once.

comment on co-agonism — my 6-week log, condensed into one table in c/cagrilintide · 149 points · 11 months ago

[removed by moderator]

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 65 weeks to accept.

comment on switched from 0.5mg to 2.4mg and the the food-noise thing got better, not worse in c/retatrutide · 5 points · 12 months ago

This is correct. Triple agonism is genuinely different.

comment on [Discussion] we are measuring Wegovy at the wrong time and calling it noise in c/semaglutide · 0 points · 12 months ago

the 2.4mg dose is not the target, it is just what the pen goes up to

Disagree on that part. 98.7% and 97.4% on the same vial is normal.

comment on genuine question about titration that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/semaglutide · 204 points · 1 year ago

Did anything else change in the same window? Sleep, protein, steps, anything?

permalink

comment on genuine question about titration that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/semaglutide · 0 points · 1 year ago

Right, and the corollary is that stopping escalation does not reset your tolerance, it just pauses the clock.

permalink

comment on 7 months in and titration is still the thing I get wrong in c/semaglutide · 211 points · 1 year ago

Yeah, 87 weeks on 2.4mg, same pattern, same timing.

Are we talking amylin or GLP-1 here?
