genuine question about titration that I am slightly embarrassed to ask

Question Long Haul ×1 Cold Box ×3 Well Actually ×3

Week 8 update. 19kg down from the start, early fullness basically gone since about week 60.

Things that worked: consistency, protein at breakfast, walking more than I want to. Things that did not: everything I bought on the internet to help with early fullness.

The part that surprised me is how much of this is admin. Ordering, storing, logging, remembering. Nobody mentions that the hard bit is not the drug, it is the routine.

Happy to answer anything. Please do not ask me what dose you should be on.

This is the "correlation is mechanism" thing again. You changed three variables at once.

pens are overpriced, research vials are research grade, same molecule different price

titration speed is Ozempic plus side effects, period

Strongly agree. If it is not working at 0.5mg after 45 weeks, going up is not automatically the answer.

Adding to this: food noise is doing more work than the comment implies.

Hard agree. Week 4 me needed this. Week 41 me is nodding smugly.

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

Tracking number removed. It identifies both ends of a shipment.

My muscle cramps was worst at 0.5mg and better at 0.25mg, which makes no sense and I have stopped trying to explain it.

This matches my experience almost exactly on the Ozempic pens. The titration is the whole point.

Week 57 for me and the honest summary is: 27kg down, sulphur burps manageable, and the quiet happened around week 7.

Right, and the corollary is that stopping escalation does not reset your tolerance, it just pauses the clock.

Ozempic versus Wegovy versus research grade is the wrong argument, they are literally the same molecule

u/chidi_demir1 point·1 year ago

nope, 0.25 counts, it is just not the dose most people stay on

week 67 on the pen, 8kg down, this is the answer

My nausea was worst at 2.4mg and better at 0.25mg, which makes no sense and I have stopped trying to explain it.

Did you time the injection consistently each week or was it more ad hoc?

That is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning.
