comment on [Lab] 24th independent test on QSC, and the trend is the interesting part in c/hplc · 25 points · 8 months ago

area% and mass% are not the same and this whole post conflates them

comment on what changed for me between week 45 and week 88 in c/coa · 233 points · 9 months ago

area% is not mass%, and here is exactly why it matters

comment on genuine question about batch that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/coa · 16 points · 10 months ago

the batch number or it did not happen

comment on the import thing finally clicked for me and I want to write it down in c/customs · -20 points · 11 months ago

Sceptical. If this were true we would see it reflected in the data and we do not.

comment on [Discussion] the purity advice in here is 9 years out of date in c/coa · 6 points · 1 year ago

Disagree but this is the good kind of wrong — it is specific enough to be checked.

Ran the same vial on two columns, different purity, both right, different separation. Method matters more than equipment.

The related substances profile is way more interesting than the main peak %. A 98% with 6 peaks is different from a 98% that is one 35% impurity.

Edit to your parent would help — the concentration you quoted assumes one scenario and you have written another above it.

comment on week 16 check-in — 37kg down, early fullness manageable, one thing confusing me in c/hplc · 263 points · 1 year ago

The VendorInvestigate result being close to my own HPLC is the signal, not the absolute number. Both are right.

comment on [Results] 96 weeks on 12.5mg, full numbers, ask me anything boring in c/coa · 56 points · 1 year ago

No. This is the kind of confident post that gets copied into a screenshot and repeated for years. Where is the evidence.

permalink

comment on what would you tell week-1 you about area percent in c/coa · 51 points · 1 year ago

the related substances line is where the story is

permalink

comment on what would you tell week-1 you about import in c/customs · 42 points · 1 year ago

the customs status depends on what happens at the border

permalink

comment on certificate of analysis: the version I wish someone had shown me in week 1 in c/coa · 1 points · 1 year ago

purity and net content are two different numbers, same vial

comment on my ApoB moved and I cannot work out whether method development is why in c/hplc · 8 points · 1 year ago

Small correction: the trial was 23 weeks, not 27. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

comment on Spain: LC-MS, and what it actually costs here in c/hplc · 21 points · 1 year ago

Edit to your parent would help — the concentration you quoted assumes one scenario and you have written another above it.

comment on [Question] Ireland — has anyone got a straight answer on method development in c/hplc · 75 points · 1 year ago

state the method: column, gradient, detection wavelength, injection volume

comment on stalled for 8 weeks at 5mg and I refuse to panic this time in c/hplc · 21 points · 1 year ago

Dead space in the needle hub holds a small but non-trivial volume. On low-volume draws that can be several units.

comment on reading batch threads from 2024 and half of it aged badly in c/coa · 523 points · 1 year ago

purity and net content are two different numbers, same vial

permalink

comment on chromatogram: what the trials say vs what this community says in c/hplc · 46 points · 1 year ago

Gradient goblin mode: changed the solvent composition 3 times, finally got good resolution on a LC-MS peak.

comment on switched from 12.5mg to 0.5mg and the injection-site soreness got better, not worse in c/coa · 350 points · 1 year ago

the method line is doing real work, not just window dressing
