comment on genuine question about struggle that I am slightly embarrassed to ask in c/progresspics · 0 points · 6 months ago

Maintenance for 13 months now. Weight moves within about 3kg and the dose is a quarter of what it peaked at.

Rodent data is rodent data. Dose scaling is not linear and the models tell you what to investigate, not what to expect.

15mg vial, 2mL water, concentration is 15/2 — write it on the vial afterwards

comment on LC-MS: what the trials say vs what this community says in c/hplc · 173 points · 6 months ago

That is net peptide content, not purity. Different number, different meaning.

rodent data must be labelled as rodent data

Counter-anecdote: opposite result, same dose. Which mostly tells us the variance is huge.

Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points. Different column, different gradient, different integration.

comment on unpopular opinion: DHL is massively overrated in c/intlshipping · 105 points · 7 months ago

Strongly agree.

Yes, exactly this, and it is the bit that took me 87 weeks to accept.

comment on [Question] New Zealand — has anyone got a straight answer on LC-MS in c/hplc · 30 points · 7 months ago

This is the correct method framing. Column and gradient are load-bearing fields.

Yeah, showing the arithmetic is the fastest way for someone to spot the error.

comment on the shipping question that gets asked weekly, answered properly in c/intlshipping · 27 points · 8 months ago

customs clearance often adds 24 days, factor that in

comment on bacteriostatic water vs mg/mL — genuinely asking which matters more in c/reconstitution · 209 points · 9 months ago

Small correction: the trial was 3 weeks, not 16. Does not change your point but people will quote it.

No. This is the kind of confident post that gets copied into a screenshot and repeated for years. Where is the evidence.

pentadecapeptide is sequence, the supply chain naming is a mess

Disagree on that part. 93.7% and 99.3% on the same vial is normal.

Yeah, the incretin mechanism is doing the work here.

Maintenance for 24 months now. Weight moves within about 3kg and the dose is a quarter of what it peaked at.

Titration speed is a side-effect dial far more than an efficacy dial.
