Something I noticed reading old threads that I have not seen said out loud.
The advice on lipids in this community changed substantially around the start of last year, and nobody went back and updated the older posts. So depending on which thread the search engine hands you, you get two contradictory answers with the same confidence.

This is correct. ApoB is the better marker.
ApoB from 15 to 31 is movement, not noise
HOMA-IR is crude but free and useful for tracking
Not to be pedantic but ApoB and bloodwork are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.

Strongly agree. ALT is where you catch the liver story early.
