disclosure — 18 things I got wrong before I got it right

Announcement Well Actually ×1 Slow Clap ×2

Trying to settle this properly because the thread from last year went in circles.

The claim: moderation matters. The counter-claim: it is measurement error. Both sides have been asserting it confidently for about 13 months without either producing anything.

What would actually settle it is 17 people measuring the same thing the same way. I have started; my numbers are below. They lean one way but not strongly enough for me to declare victory.

If you have data, post the data. If you have an opinion, flair it as an opinion.

Retitled to remove editorialising. Put the evidence in the body.

Inter-lab variance on this kind of assay is routinely 1–2 points. Different column, different gradient, different integration.

Not to be pedantic but disclosure and meta are being used interchangeably and they are not interchangeable in real life.

Week 78 for me and the honest summary is: 46kg down, nausea manageable, and I have thought about food maybe four times today.

Came off after 17 weeks for financial reasons. Regained about a third over the following year. Back on now at a much lower dose.

c/meta rules
  1. Moderation appeals go through modmail first; Meta is for policy, not individual cases.
  2. Rule-change proposals need a concrete wording suggestion.
  3. Sponsor and disclosure questions are always answered publicly.
  4. Independent community. Nobody here sells anything, and anyone who tries is banned.
  5. Not medical advice. Describe what you did; never prescribe to a stranger.
  6. Claims need evidence. Batch numbers, dated screenshots, independent test reports, or a citation.
  7. No referral links, discount codes or affiliate URLs. Permanent ban, no appeal.
  8. No contact handles, wallet addresses or tracking numbers — they identify people.
  9. Be recognisably decent. Disagree hard, insult nobody.

Before you read on

Several compounds discussed on GLP Research Hub are sold for research use only and are not approved for human use anywhere. Nothing here is medical advice and none of it is written by your clinician. If a post reads like an instruction, treat it as a description of what one stranger did.
